FOLK METAL FROM LONDON TO THE WORLD

From London to the world they will make their instruments sound in an epic way like Big Ben, they are Ravenhymn, a young band born in 2021 who intend to bring their flute-driven folk metal to the world with their first EP titled “I Saw The Wolf” which is composed of four singles:

  1. I Saw The Wolf“, wolf (Ai vis lo lop): lop): sung in both English &
Occitan, this popular medieval song tells of the troubles of being a
peasant (or today – a taxpayer) under the rule of the wolf, the fox
& the hare (the king, the baron & the church)
  2. Ievan polkka: a traditional Finnish polka recounting the tale of
a girl who escapes to dance the night away.
  3. Wassail (Skudrinka): Skudrinka is a traditional Macedonian dance – we added our own lyrics about the English wassail.
ceremony: a time to celebrate the growth of new apple trees
  4. Totus floreo: From the Carmina Burana, a medieval collection of
11th & 12th century Latin poems, this song celebrates true beauty.
